HOW TO APPLY

Each year, Curtis interviews students at top law schools around the country for our summer program, seeking candidates we believe will be successful associates and ultimately develop into future partners of the firm. In addition to academic success, Curtis values an entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, leadership and maturity as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Summer Program

The Curtis Summer Program is small and highly selective. Curtis chooses approximately 8 to 12 second-year law students to participate in our highly rated program. The summer program, which lasts ten weeks, starts in late May and ends in late July. Grades and scores are not the only criteria for selection. Curtis looks for students who are confident, independent thinkers as well as multilingual. We immerse our summer associates in law firm life through client projects, training seminars and social events. The summer program is designed to give students a realistic view of the practice of law while at the same time teaching them real-world lawyering skills in a hands-on environment. Our summer associates quickly become assimilated through close contact with partners and mentors and involvement in important client work.
